The full form of BTS is Bangtan Sonyeondan, and Singing mostly in Korean, the boy band became the first K-pop act to hit number one on U.S. albums charts. The seven-piece South Korean mega group that is probably the most popular male band in the world right now. BTS is also the first Korean band to have performed at an American music awards, doing so way back in November 2017, with their single DNA.
The History of BTS
It all started when CEO of big hit Entertainment Bang Si-hyuk was impressed by rapping skills of Kim Namjoon . He was a popular rapper in Seoul back then. It was originally supposed to be a hip hop group but Bang Si-hyuk wanted to create and idol group similar to Seo Taiji and Boys which were very popular in 90s in Korea.
